At UNI, solidarity, responsibility and courage guide our actions on a daily basis. We firmly believe that we have a moral duty to support our local businesses and organizations. Our participation in the Love for Local initiative is possible thanks to our members and clients, who choose to do business with UNI” explained Robert Moreau, Chief Executive Officer of UNI Financial Cooperation.

During the launch event and kickoff of the Love for Local - New Brunswick “Electric Summer Social Tour” on the afternoon of June 23 - organizers and sponsors dropped the big surprise news which was live streamed across the province.

“UNI is the absolute perfect partner to help further our mission. Thanks to this we can ramp up our efforts even more of promoting local in NB every single day. It doesn’t get more local, cooperative, or community focused than this. We’re honoured and grateful to have their support - which empowers the campaign to take a major step forward to reaching its true potential” said Brad LeBlanc, President of BrainWorks and Co-founder of Love for Local.

The Love for Local program consists of 6 themed campaigns in the 2021-2022 programming: The general PSA campaign which includes free social shoutouts and the [CATAPULT] video series, NB365 which shares the story of a different local business or organization every day, The Electric Summer Social Tour, Your Backyard is Bigger than You Think - a staycation themed campaign presented by CPA New Brunswick, A Very Local Holiday presented by Medavie, and one additional themed campaign to be announced in the fall.

The campaign stands in service to businesses and organizations across NB. Completely focused on reaching as many New Brunswickers as possible, this public facing program is committed to continuing to build the largest, most active, and most engaged community of local supporters in the province.
