CHALLENGE

The Programmer Analyst plays a key role in designing, implementing and delivering high-performance IT solutions to support the IT Development and Integration Director in efficiently managing information technology activities while enabling UNI to meet its business objectives.

The successful candidate will be an important resource for internal users and clients, seeking out best practices and identifying and analyzing their IT and technology needs. They will rigorously design and deliver IT programs and solutions according to UNI and industry standards, norms and procedures. While continuously improving information security programs and mitigating financial and operational risks, they will also create, implement and document solutions for IT failures and deficiencies.

Their role will involve advising and participating in work groups with an eye to improvement, innovation and user education. As a team player, the successful candidate will work hand in hand with colleagues and managers and people from other UNI business lines to provide agile, proactive and innovative service.

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree or college diploma in computer science who has experience in object-oriented programming, preferably in ASP.Net C# application development. They should have relevant experience in the structured development, implementation and support of computer systems and be proficient in MS SQL Server databases. Knowledge of electronic document management platforms is an asset. Equivalent training and experience will be recognized.

WORKING CONDITIONS

All applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Brunswick on the expected date of hire.
