Belles-Soeurs musical theatre

Founded in 1974 in Caraquet, Théâtre populaire d’Acadie is the oldest professional theatre company in Acadia. From original creations to contemporary and classical productions, the organization puts on a variety of performances for the general public and for younger audiences. Shows are inspired by many different artistic trends, but there is a strong emphasis on Acadian theatre. The company has produced or co-produced over 130 events, including more than 20 for young audiences, and performs its regular season on tour throughout New Brunswick.

UNI’s involvement

UNI is proud to contribute to this organization that presented an ambitious show in the summer of 2022 with performances of the original production Belles-Sœurs, théâtre musical. Featuring 12 actors, 4 musicians and 5 technicians, the event was a huge success!
