Project description

New Brunswick’s first social pediatrics clinic— Centre de pédiatrie sociale Sud-Est – Enfant présent Child (CPSSE)—was founded in response to reports and statistics that show more and more of the province’s children are exposed to situations that compromise their overall development and, by extension, the province's long-term prosperity. The CPSSE works with vulnerable children and youth age 0 to 18 years to help them develop to their full potential and thus improve the social fabric and resilience of our communities.

UNI’s role

UNI’s funding will help the CPSSE achieve its goals of becoming the first community social pediatrics clinic in NB accredited by the Fondation Dr. Julien and of proactively transferring knowledge to help support the creation of new clinics and consolidate the operations of the three local committees already in place in Memramcook, Kent North and Kent South.
