L'Atelier des Copains Co-op Ltée

This co-op has been part of the Madawaska community for over 40 years and began sorting recyclables some 20 years ago. The organization, which provides employment to more than a dozen people with special needs, modernized its facilities this year to better meet demand and increase employee productivity. The Atelier used to be able to recycle just under 800 tonnes of material in a year. After a few quick adjustments, the team can now process 1,200 tonnes per year.
