Project description

Mira is a nonprofit organization that offers free guide dogs and service dogs to people living with visual impairments and physical disabilities and to young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).  The Mira Atlantic Foundation has been operating in Moncton since 1995. Mira innovates by way of its programs, dog training and fundraising activities.  Since its creation, more than 33 dogs have been offered free-of-charge to people living with one or more disabilities. Mira’s success is largely due to public support.

UNI’s involvement

UNI’s contribution supports Mira’s mission to improve the physical and mental autonomy of people with disabilities by providing free service dogs.
