Project description

 

The Youth in Action Centre is a recreation and social center primarily for 5- to 17-year-olds. The Centre supports initiatives that promote the healthy development of children’s and teens’ physical, social, emotional and cognitive functions so they can live accomplished lives and enjoy opportunities for leadership, fun, friendship and recognition. The Centre also helps foster a feeling of belonging and gives them access to several programs and resources in a safe, inclusive space so they can live up to their full potential. 

 

UNI’s role

Because it takes a village to raise a child, UNI’s contribution will have helped the Centre continue making a positive difference in the lives of Restigouche youth by supporting programs designed to help them achieve their full potential.
