MESSAGE FROM CAMILLE H. THÉRIAULT, UNI's PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
"As of now, employees and members and clients are going to be the most important people. I have gotten figures today that some of our employees are burned out. Some of our employees need to be taken care of. And who else will take better care of their employees than a financial cooperative, owned by the employees and by the members and clients.
I went around the building this morning and I recognize a lot of employees. I felt their pain and the challenges that they are having met all the needs of the members and clients. But I also felt their resolve of wanting to be part of it when it’s all done and figured out and all back to normal. They are proud. This is a big thing. It’s like when we transformed the Caisse Populaire to UNI. It took time. But there was a spring in the step of the employees, and I still feel that today. We have great employees, and we will not take them for granted.".
