Message from the President and Chief Executive Officer │ The passing of Raymond Gionet

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of a great builder of Mouvement des Caisses populaires acadiennes.

Mr. Raymond Gionet left his mark on our organization through 15 years of leadership, humanism and commitment to the New Brunswick francophone communities served by our caisses.

He was president and CEO of the Fédération des Caisses populaires acadiennes from 1987 to 1994.

 

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Maison Funéraire Racicot (49 rue du Portage in Caraquet) on Wednesday, February 1, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, February 2, from noon until departure for the funeral.

The funeral will be held at Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens Church in Caraquet on Thursday, February 2, at 2 p.m.

A donation can be made to Enfant-Jésus RHSJ Hospital in Caraquet or to a charity of your choice.
