The employees of the head office show unprecedented generosity
During the 2016 Cooperation Week, UNI's Head Office employees and its subsidiaries contributed $21,155.00 to three non-profit organizations from the northeastern part of the province.
This amount was raised among employees through fundraising activities. It is the most important amount raised by UNI's Head Office Employee Association.
Cheques were presented to all three organizations this morning, during the Cooperation Week kick-off breakfast. First, a $10,000.00 cheque was presented to the Association Moto-Tourisme Acadienne for sick children. Then, the Comité d'aide aux familles, which was put in place in 2004 in order to make Christmas better for less fortunate families of the Acadian Peninsula, received an amount of $9,400.00. Finally, an amount of $1,755.00 was divided between the three hospital foundations of the Acadian Peninsula.
