The Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes supports our youth
Caraquet, NB - The Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes is proud to invest in our youth. For over 25 years, it has been offering students who are enrolled in a postsecondary education program, a chance to win a scholarship. These scholarships will be distributed in the five regions served by the Caisses populaires acadiennes.
In 2011, the Fondation will give a total of $50,000 in scholarships, valued at $1,000 each. These scholarships will be paid during Cooperation Week, next October.
The scholarship draw took place on April 2012 at Édifice MARTIN-J.-LÉGÈRE, head office of the Fondation.

About the Fondation
Since 1983, the Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes has been committed to supporting New Brunswick’s education sector, through scholarships or educational projects.
Throughout the years, the Fondation has paid out scholarships to more than 2,300 students thanks to a scholarship fund of over $1.8 million, funded by the various constituents of the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes.
The Fondation also supports the Lire, découvrir et grandir literacy program, which is intended to help children from preschool up to second grade to reach an acceptable reading level by the end of their second year of schooling.
