The Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes supports our youth

The Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes is proud to support our youth. For over 25 years, it has been offering students who are enrolled in a postsecondary education program, a chance to win a scholarship. These scholarships will be distributed in the five regions served by the Caisses populaires acadiennes.

In 2014, the Fondation will give a total of $50,000 in scholarships, valued at $1,000 each. These scholarships will be paid during Cooperation Week, next October.

The scholarship draw took place on April 2014 at Édifice Martin-J.-LÉGÈRE, head office of the Fondation.

About the Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes

Since 1983, The Fondation des caisses populaires acadiennes committed to support New Brunswick’s education sector, through scholarships or educational projects.

Over the years, it has paid out scholarships to over 2,350 students, thanks to a scholarship fund of over 1.7 million dollars, funded by the various components of the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes.

The Fondation also supports the Lire, découvrir et grandir literacy program, which aims to help children from preschool up to second grade to attain an acceptable literacy level by the end of their second year of schooling.
