UNI Financial Cooperation to gradually reopen its business locations and continue its modernization plan
UNI's business locations will reopen gradually as soon as they are refitted to meet public health requirements. Within a few weeks, client members will be able to return to the following business locations:
- Saint-Louis de Kent, open since July 6
- Moncton, Morton Avenue, July 20
- Beresford, July 27
- Grand-Barachois, July 27
- Saint-Antoine, July 27
- Sheila, July 27
- Saint-Léonard, August 4
- Eel River Crossing, August 17
- Moncton (University of Moncton), date to be determined depending on university reopening
Change in role for Saint-Basile
This business location will be turned into UNI's Customer Contact Call Centre where employees support client members in their day-to-day telephone transactions. As a result, service to client members will no longer be available on site.
Permanent closure of three business locations: Bas-Caraquet, Grande-Anse and Saint-Jacques
Since the habits of client members are changing, the modernization plan undertaken over the past few years is ongoing. Consequently, business locations where traffic cannot justify remaining open, even part-time, will remain permanently closed. In 2019, in-person teller transactions at these business locations represented less than five per cent of all in-person teller transactions at UNI.
However, ATMs will be maintained in the four communities affected by these changes since client members of these business locations use the ATMs more than in-person teller service. UNI will attempt to relocate the ATMs to new locations in the affected communities with the exception of Saint-Basile, where it will remain on site.
Petit-Rocher opening this fall
As well, as announced last year, UNI will open its new-concept business location in Petit-Rocher this fall. The location will reflect a new reality that brings UNI back to the essence of its business: tailor-made advice in the management of client members' assets, from school to retirement, and from business idea to start-up.

UNI remains the most present financial institution in the area with 35 business locations and four UNI Business offices. It is also an active participant in community life, annually giving back $2 million in financial support to nearly 1,000 community organizations.
