UNI opens fully redesigned business location in Petit-Rocher
UNI has chosen the site where the first Caisse populaire acadienne in Petit-Rocher was founded 85 years ago to showcase its vision for the business location of tomorrow that will better serve its members and clients.
“This new business location represents a new era of innovative services designed to make our members’ and clients’ lives easier,” said UNI CEO Robert Moreau. “We’re embracing technology and putting it to work for people.”
Innovation and adaptability have been a part of UNI’s DNA from the very beginning. “Our predecessors created an institution that met their needs,” said UNI Board of Directors Chair Pierre-Marcel Desjardins. “Now it’s our turn to continue their work and keep innovating, listening and staying agile to meet the specific needs of our members and clients for many years to come. The business location we’re opening today is an example of UNI’s history of builders coming together to do what is needed to meet the financial needs of the community.”
Located in the heart of Petit-Rocher in Maison de l’Acadie, the new business location has a number of innovative features. It is UNI’s first business location to keep fully digitized records. It has a coffee lounge and meeting rooms where members and clients can speak with their financial advisor. Members and clients also have access to a training space and an inviting reception area.
UNI is keeping up the momentum and continuing to evolve as a modern financial cooperative while remaining close to its members and clients. “The spirit of cooperation is as strong as ever in 2021,” said Moreau. “I’d like to thank all our members and clients for their loyalty as well as our community partners and staff, who helped make UNI one of the best in the industry in 2020.”
