UNI to move business location to Tannery Place next Fall

UNI will be moving its St. George Street business location in Moncton to Tannery Place in the Fall of 2022. Located in downtown Moncton, close to the Business District and less than 1.5 kilometers away from the current location, this new site will provide a renewed and modernized experience.

"At UNI, we are committed to contributing to the vitality of the communities where we operate, which of course means evolving in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner. That's why we chose for the new Tannery Place location a design that promotes environment-friendly consumption, reducing by half the energy usage, to serve our members and clients," said Robert Moreau, President and CEO.

Since opening its very first business location 85 years ago, UNI has relied on innovation and adaptability to meet the needs of its members and clients.

"This project is part of UNI's desire to modernize while staying connected to its various clienteles. Over the past year, we have begun our digital transformation and are leveraging this progress for our Tannery Place location, enhancing both the customer experience and office design. Our members and clients will continue to receive personalized, straightforward service and advice with a human touch" added René Collette, Senior Vice‑President, Personal Banking.

The process leading up to the move to Tannery Place has just begun and is expected to run through the Fall of 2022.

"We will be assisting our personal and commercial clients through the move to ensure a smooth transition. Our UNI Moncton team is already looking forward to welcoming them to their new location. We are also pleased to announce that there will be convenient and free parking spots for our members and clients at Tannery Place," followed Eric Haché, Regional Vice‑President, Kent‑Westmorland.

UNI is keeping up the momentum and continuing to evolve as a modern financial cooperative while remaining close to its members and clients.
