UNI announces $10,000 donation to N.B. communities affected by flooding

As a gesture of support, UNI has announced a financial contribution to assist victims in communities impacted by the recent floods in New Brunswick. The organization will be making a $10,000 donation to the New Brunswick Floods Appeal coordinated by the Canadian Red Cross.

After being walloped by the worst flooding in decades, residents along the St. John River and in other parts of New Brunswick have been left devastated by the rising waters.

UNI cares about its clients

UNI is here to assist its personal and business clients experiencing hardship due to the flooding by deferring loan payments and offering other forms of temporary relief. Please do not hesitate to contact your financial advisor, who will work promptly to find an arrangement that works for you.

“We are seeing scenes of total devastation,” stated Robert Moreau, chief executive officer of UNI. “Our donation and flexibility with regard to affected clients is our way of doing what we can to support residents in these hard-hit regions. At times like this, we can be left feeling powerless, but it’s also reassuring to know that organizations are on the ground offering assistance and compassion.

Those who would like to make a monetary donation to support the flood response efforts are invited to do so directly online through the New Brunswick Floods Appeal of the Canadian Red Cross.
