What is a student line of credit used for?

To focus on your studies

It’s tough to give studying your all if you’re too broke to pay for basic necessities. A student line of credit helps you focus by reducing financial stress.

To deal with unexpected setbacks

Spilling coffee on your keyboard or needing to change your tires can have a big impact on an already-tight budget. With our help, you can have access to an emergency fund to deal with unforeseen expenses.

Benefits of a student line of credit

Flexible repayment

You can repay your line of credit, in whole or in part, anytime during your studies and even up to six months after graduation.

Higher allowed amount

Depending on your field of study and your financial needs, you could get access to up to $275,000 to cover unforeseen expenses.

Lower fees and interest rate

For equal amounts, a line of credit has a lower interest rate than a loan or a credit card.

Maximum amount of my student line of credit

The amount of the student line of credit varies depending on your field of study and your personal finances. Anyway, no need to worry about it: the line of credit adapts easily when your needs change.
