Project description
The Restigouche Community Inclusion Network is an organization that works with the community to remove barriers that prevent the most disadvantaged from actively participating in community life. They collaborate with a variety of sectors to facilitate social inclusion, reduce poverty and put tools in place to improve quality of life. The organization also provides a community transportation service to offer safe, accessible, affordable, efficient transportation options for all residents.
UNI's involvement
UNI's contribution helps ensure service continuity so people in need can be accompanied to medical appointments, mental health services, grocery shopping and social activities at minimal cost.
